The idea behind the Hot Air Eco program was a response to consumer habits:
According to a household test carried out by Bosch in 2009, hot air is the most common method for heating ovens. Furthermore, most consumers bake or cook on one level, even though it is possible to use multiple levels when cooking with hot air. Hot Air Eco is based on the simple concept that constant and precise temperature control is designed for cooking on one level. Using this technology, the cooking conditions in the oven not only remain constant, but no energy is wasted due to temperature fluctuations.
